Charles A. Ferrari, 78, of Westford, MA died Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA. He was married to Joan (Gaudioso) Ferrari with whom he would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 5th.
Charlie was born in Boston, MA on October 22, 1943. He was the son of the late Anthony Ferrari and Wanda (Elsing) Ferrari. He was a graduate of Lexington High School.
He worked for his family business at Ferrari Plumbing and Heating in Lexington before opening his own business; Loren Plumbing and Heating Company in Winchester, MA. He retired in 2008. During that time, he also operated a family cut your own Christmas Tree Farm known as Grassland Tree Farm in Dunstable, MA
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was also a member of the Winchester Rotary Club for years,
Charlie was a lung cancer survivor since September 2021. He enjoyed clamming and antique collecting, he was a good cook, known by his loving family as the master chef.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons Scott Ferrari and husband David Hallett of Jackson, NH, Shawn Ferrari and his wife Dawn of Dunstable, MA, Charles “Chad” Ferrari, II of Dennis, MA, his sisters Barbara Ferrari of Westford, MA and Lynn Scotti and her husband, the late Michael Scotti of Winchester, MA. He was also the brother of the late Anthony Ferrari, Jr. of Acton, MA.
He had two grandchildren, Krista and Brendan Ferrari who he enjoyed and loved immensely.
