The Red Sox have now invited 23 players to Major League Spring Training camp as non-roster invitees.

Red Sox Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom made the announcement.

Triston Casas, INF – Casas, 22, is ranked by Baseball America as the No. 19 prospect in baseball and the Red Sox’ No. 2 prospect. He also was named to the All-Olympic Baseball Team, as he helped lead the United States to a Silver Medal in Tokyo, Japan. Selected by the Red Sox in the first round of the 2018 June Draft (No. 26 overall), Casas has played 208 games in his minor league career, hitting 34 home runs with an .847 OPS. In 2019, the Red Sox named him the organization’s Minor League Offensive Player of the Year.
