Snowfall totals: How much fell across Massachusetts?

NOW, BUT NOT THIS YEAR. SO WE HAVE TO GET BACK INTO OURp LET’S TALK ABOUT THAT BAND OF SNOW THAT CAME ON THROUGH AND PRODUCED SOME OF THOSE REALLY IMPRESSIVE TOTALS THAT WE’RE SEEING ACROSS THE AREA. SO I’LL TAKEOU Y BACK TO ABOUT 4:30 TO 7:30 THIS MORNING AND LOOK FOR THAT DARKER BLUE SEE HOW IT WAS SITUATED HERE. JUST ALONG THE COAST NORTH OF BOSTON AROUND MARBLEHEAD AREA ACTUALLY THROUGH BOSTON RIGHT ALONG THE PIKE POINT SOUTHWARD ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 95. SO IT’S REALLY AREA HERE THAT WE WERE LOOKING AT SNOWFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR. SOHA TT’S ABOUT THREE HOURS TIME AND THAT WAS JUST THROUGH ABOUT 7:30 THIS MORNING. THAT BDAN HAS KIND OF BEEN OFF AND ON PIVOTING NORTH AND SOUTH SINCE AND WE’RETILL S SEEING SOME HEAVIER BURSTS OF SNOW WHERE YOU LOOK AT THE BLUE HERE. THE INTENSITY IS LET UP A LITTLE BIT BUT YOU CAN SEE RHTIG AROUND THE BROCKTON AREA UP TOWARD QUINCY WEYMOUTH. WE ARE STILL LOOKING AT SOME HEAVIER BURSTS OF SNOW AND WE GET INTO THESE DARKER BLUES NOW AS YOUET G DOWN INTO SOUTHEASTERN, MASSACHUSETTS AND EVEN PARTS OF THE UPPER CAPE OVER TO HYANNIS, LOOKING AT SOME DECENT SNOWFALL RATES RIGHT NOW. SO THE SNOW CONTINUES TO PILE UP GETTING READY TO UPDATE SOME OF THESE NUMBERS HERE, BUT YOU CAN SEE WE ARE IN DOUBLE DIGITS FROM FRANKLIN TO MILLIS WITHIN THAT BAND NORWOOD ABOUT 10 INCHES AT THIS POINT. I WOULD IMAGINE YOU CAN SEE NATICK CLOSE TO IT AT 9. CANTON ABOUT EIGHTNC IHES OF SNOW, BUT THE SNOW IS STILL COMING DOWN THERE AND THEN OUTSEID THE BAND OF SNOW. THE SNOW HASN’T BEEN AS HEAVY YOU GO OUT TO WORCESTER.2 4 TO THE NORTH IN BEDFORD. YOU CAN SEE ABOUT FIVE PEPPERELL JUST THREE FALMOUTH 2.3 AND IN MARSHFIELD ALONG THE COAST WE’VE HAD YOU KNOW THOSE FINER FLAKES AND RAIN MIXING IN A TIME SPENT ABOUT TWO INCSHE OF SNOW THERE VISIBILITY THOUGH IS DOWN REGION-WIDE. SO IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT, IT’S NOT STJU THE SNOW ON THE ROADS WHEN YOU’RE DRIVING YOU’VE GOT THE REDUCED REDUCED VISIBILITY AS WELL. SOLL A THESE THINGS KIND OF COMING IN TOGETHER SO YOU CAN SEE HOW THE SNOW RIGHT NOW REALLY AS YOU GO TO THE WEST OF WORCESTER HOW IT CHANGES COLOR PRETTY DRAMATICALLY THERE. THAT’S THE MUCH LIGHTER SNOW THAT’S GOING TO CONTINUE TO SHIFT EASTWARD WITH OUR STORM. SO WE’R’ GOING TO WATCH THINGS START TO IMPROVE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. SO AS WE GET CLOSETOR CLOCK pTHIS MORNING. THE SNOW IS GOING TO TAPER OFF WEST OF WORCESTER AND IN BETWEEN 10 AM AND NOONTIME. IT DOES THAT IN WORCESTER STARTS TO DO IT IN METRO WEST STILL SNOWING ALONG THE COAST COAST AT NOON, BUT NOT THE INTENSITY. WHAT WE’RE SEEING RIGHT NOW, AND YOU CAN SEE WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN NOON AND 2 PM. IT’S REALLY STARTING TO MOVE AWAY. OUR STORM IS PULLING AWAY ON THE BACK SIDE THAT NORTHWESTERLY WIND IS GOING TO FRESHEN UP. SO IN TERMS OF HOW MHUC ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL IN MANY AREAS WON’T BE TOO MUCH CERTAINLY NOT GOING TO SEE ADDITIONAL SNOW WITH THE RATE OF WHAT WE’VE SEEN THE PAST FEW HOURS BUT A LOT OF US COME AWAY WITH SIX TO TWELVE LESS AS YOU SAW AS YOU GO NORTH AND WEST HERE 4,95 BUT IT’S WITHIN THOSE BANDS HERE RIGHT ALONG AND JUST SOUTH OF THE PIKE DOWN TOWARD 95 THAT THE BEST CHANCE OF SEEING THOSE 12 INCH TOTALS AND A LOT OF THOSE COMMUNITIES AS OUR STORM POLES AWAY IT STRENGTHENS. SO THAT’S WHY THE WIND IS PICKING UP PLAN ONUS G CLOSE TO 30 MILES PER HOUR RIGHT THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. SO THAT MEANS CLEANUP WILL BE CHALLENGING SOME OF THAT SNOW BE BLOWING AROUND AND THE WIND CHILL RUNNING IN THE TEENS TO AROUND 20 DEGREES. ‘I’S GOING TO BE TOO COLD TONIGHT AS WE CLEAR OUT TEENS SUNS I BACK TOMORROW. ANSOD IT IS A BRIGHT START TO YOUR WEEKEND. HOWEVER, I WANT TO CAUTION YOU ON SUNDAY. THIS ONE MAY BE A LITTLE BIT SNEAKY LIGHT PRECIPITATION IS GOING TO MOVE ON IN BUT IT’S GOING TO GET MUCH WARMER. LOFT SO IT’S GOING TO RAIN BUT FROM THEOR MNING INTO THE AFTERNOON NORTH AND WEST OF 495. IT’S GOING TO BE COLD AT GROUND LEVEL SO WE MAY HAVE SOME FREEZING RAIN A LIGHT ICING SITUATION SETNGTI UP NOT SO MUCH CLOSER TO THE COASTLINE HERE, BUT KIND OF A WET SUNDAY FOR YOU ICY TO THE NORTH AND WEST AND THEN THE BIG STORY IS THIS EARLY XTNE WEEK. LOOK AT THESE WINDSHIELDS TEENS TO AROUND 20 DEGREES BELOW ZEROS IS HOW IT’S GOING TO FL EESO MAKE SURE, YOU ARE CLEANING THAT SNOW UP TODAY BECAUSE CLEARLY IT IS GOING TO BE SITTING ON THE GROUND HERE. WELL INTO NEXT W
