Next Snow Expected Thursday
JANUARY FREEZE
Did you know that we’re in the climatological COLDEST time of the year? After hitting 50 yesterday, we’re staying at 30 or less this afternoon. We’ll keep the skies mostly sunny. Gusts 30-40 mph will continue to produce wind chills in the singles and teens.
WEDNESDAY WARMING AND THURSDAY SNOW
A warm front will pass through early Wednesday with a few flurries possible in northern MA during the morning commute. Temperatures will shift back into the 40s for the afternoon. This is your chance to move any slush that froze on your driveway or sidewalk after Monday’s snow and rain.
The cold front part of the storm is set to arrive Thursday morning with some rain or snow. It looks like less than an inch in Boston, Worcester and the North Shore. A couple inches of snow are possible in southeastern MA. It’s not much, but could lead to slippery roads through midday.
